Depending on the activity, certain volunteers will undergo background check to ensure the safety of the children and adults participating in our programs. Volunteer projects vary throughout the year. There’s always a need for all types of skills and experiences, and each program is flexible, meanwhile matching available opportunities to your specific skill set.
Volunteers help with a wide range of projects, from youth and adult enrichment to administrative tasks. Additionally, volunteer projects may be one-on-one training with a staff supervisor as well as independent work.

General Volunteer Requirements
- All volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
- Volunteers should have good manners
- Volunteers must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Volunteers that are bi-lingual/Spanish speaking is a plus
- All positions are unpaid.
